Owing to its benefits especially in terms of business integrity and respect most companies are quickly adopting VPSHR even though it is not mandatory. It is thus helping companies and their contractors in not only accessing the risks their company poses to the human rights of the surrounding community but also developing mitigation measures and sharing of experiences between companies. It is thus important that companies give VPSHR trainings to their staff and contractors. Our VPSHR training focuses on creating awareness and encouraging adherence to and implementation of the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human rights (VPSHR). The training thus targets all security personnel especially those involved in security in the extractive industry.
